Firenze [Florence]: G. Barbera, 1901. A charming 32mo reprint of Petrarch bound in full vellum likely by Ferdinando Ongania with his sticker to the front pastedown. The vellum is gilt throughout and also a gauffered and gilt top edge. As with many of the vellum bound reprints from the 19th-early 20th centuries, these were in booksellers shops catering to tourists. Very good with some staining to the vellum and yellowing to the pages, as could be expected for cheaper reprint editions. Item #153
